WMGG E-board Minutes for Friday, January 20, 2006

Attendance:  Jeremy, Aaron, Roadkill, Beta, Rob, Ben, Isaac, Pat, 
Mike, Hawk, Traverse, Josiah.

WSA Report (Beta):  Nothing pertinent at the first meeting.

Librarian (Pat):  The trophies have no been shipped or anything as of yet.
Motion for giving money or free memberships to Games Workshop in 
exchange for borrowing their scenery were disapproved, 0-7-0.  Pat 
was given the authority to create a layout for creating our own 
scenery.

Isaac:  Console events and Rogue Trader events need to still be 
registered, as well as the console games.  Anime Addicts schedule 
turned in by Josiah.  With the power layout, we can have about 55 
people at the LAN.  Schedule for meeting with Mitch is during next 
week, 5:30.  There’s a problem with uploaded pictures.

Treasurer (Ben):  February 8th.  There was no budget for the LAN 
prize support, and we need to play with the numbers on the budget to 
see if we can get a couple of prizes, around $200 each.

CAB Report (Rob):  No CAB meeting this week.  Waiting is the Miller 
Movie this week.

VP Report (Roadkill):  Cottage Inn discounts start tomorrow.  The 
display case is up, and we have received compliments on it.  For mini 
contest’s prizes, we are thinking about getting money from Game Shop, 
as well as from an art store.

Aaron:  Settlers of Catan has been registered, but we need to make a 
flyer for the tournament.  Pre-registration is not open yet, because 
we’re waiting for RPGA.  Apparently, RPGA has no idea what they’re 
doing.  Due to request, we will be handling the fee for the Rogue 
Trader, which not go to the Guild funds.

President (Jeremy):  NERO and 7th Sea LARPS need separate rooms 
registered.  Game Shop will be renewing the discounts, and will be 
asking for a table at the convention.   NERO called, and are 
attempting to get a waiver for their weapons on campus for the event.

Secretary (Mike):  Minutes presented, and were passed with no 
corrections.  Did not have time to check mail this week.

Misc.  Information:  We now have the drawings and sketches for the 
ballroom, and can start plotting out the room layout.
Library days are up in the air, and no information forthcoming.  Mike 
will be talking to Kevin at the Library about our payment for 
previous days and for forthcoming events.
